Then, starting with the 5th sermon, we go verse by verse through 2 Samuel. The sovereign God and King of all sets David on the throne of his people Israel and promises that one of his offspring will reign forever and ever! Jesus Christ is the great Son of David who triumphs where all others fail, and brings salvation to the people of God.
