Called Closer to Jesus

Cary Cox, from Mark 3:7-19. The crowds are following Jesus, but mostly for the miracles he can give them. But his disciples are coming closer. Jesus calls his 12 apostles to be with him in fellowship, and to minister out of that relationship to Jesus. They are flawed men with sins and differences, but they are called in unity around Jesus! Fellowship with Jesus means fellowship with his people!

Christians Serve the Church

Romans Study 77. Cary Cox, from Romans 12:6-8. Paul teaches us what it looks like to live as a Christian. He zeroes in on our unbreakable connection to the church. Each Christian is a part of the body of Christ. Christians go to church, because we are the church, together. And Christians serve the church, using the gifts God has given us to build up the body.
