Authority to Forgive Sins

John the Baptist came and prepared the way for Jesus! The passages of the OT about Yahweh God are consistently applied to Jesus by the NT writers. We must prepare through repentance and receive Jesus!

God’s Testimony About Jesus

Cary Cox, from 1 John 5:6-12. The apostle John corrects false teaching that minimizes the blood of Jesus. Without the preaching of the cross of Christ, we have no gospel! And John points us to the simple testimony of God about Jesus: eternal life is in the Son of God!
