God’s warnings come with instructions. He instructs Noah to build the ark, God’s gracious provision for his salvation from judgment. God makes a covenant with Noah, so that Noah’s faith rests in the promise of God. All of this points to Jesus Christ, who is our rescue from the future judgment.
